Control Room

The Control Room is the central hub of the recording studio and is calibrated in the mixing position for a superior balance of true accurate frequency responses in the 2.1 stereo field. All other rooms in the studio are wired to the control room for versatility and flexibility for a wide range of audio and visual projects. The comfortable atmosphere and quiet space lend itself well to creativity and clarity of expression. Both the vocal booth and music room are visible from the control room via triple pane thermal glass windows angled to diffuse sound for total isolation.

Music Room

The music room is a 300 square foot open space perfect for live off the floor recordings. The walls, floor, and ceiling are sound treated to reduce noise and reverberation to give a nice open sound without any unwanted noise or frequencies. The corners of the room have been rounded to minimize bass pockets. Acoustic panelling on the walls increase sound absorption while insulation and fibreglass in the ceiling truss work reduces unwanted refractions.

Vocal Booth

The Vocal Booth is a 6x6 foot enclosed extreme quiet space. The walls and ceiling are filled with 1.5 inch thick fibre glass panelling to provide maximum sound absorption. The result of the sound treatment is a clean, clear, dry, upfront sound perfect for male and female vocals, acoustic guitar, percussion, and brass instruments. The four channel headphone preamp allows for up to four people in the space at the same time for group vocal recordings.

Green Screen Room

The Green Screen Room boasts a large area green screen painted in the colour “Disney Green” from floor to ceiling. The dimensions of the green screen are 15 feet wide by 10 feet deep and 8 feet in height. The large room has fibreglass sound panel reinforcement on the walls and ceiling as well as curtains to reduce sound reflections and refractions, which makes the room perfect to not only capture great video, but audio as well. The large open space lends itself well to any project from a single person closeup, to multiple dancers side by side.

Blue Room

The Blue Room is a small office like area which serves multiple purposes such as a separate mixing station, creation studio, or isolation booth for guitar and bass amps. This room is sound treated with wall panels filled with insulation to reduce unwanted sound reflections.
